Are the condos private residences?

Morning Star Lodge condominiums are individually owned. Many of the owners provide us, as on-site property managers, the privilege of offering them to guests for short term accommodations. To find out more about resort real estate, there is a team of real estate professionals located at the Silver Mountain Resort Discovery Center in Gondola Village.

How do I get to Silver Mountain Resort in Idaho?

Easily one of the most accessible destination resorts you'll ever visit, Silver Mountain Resort is located in northern Idaho 35 minutes east of Coeur d'Alene on I-90 and two hours west of Missoula, MT. The resort is only one hour east of Spokane, WA. Google Map

What time can we check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is at 4pm or 5pm during holidays. You can gain access to the room earlier if it is ready. Check-out time is 11am the day of departure. If you arrive at the Resort early, you can splash and surf at Silver Rapids indoor waterpark starting at 1pm. Additionally, the waterpark is yours to enjoy the entire day of departure.

Are pets allowed in the rooms?

Yes, some of the privately owned condominiums are pet friendly. There is a non-refundable fee of $40 and you are responsible for all damages or additional cleaning that may be necessary.

What is the nearest airport?

If you're flying commercially, Silver Mountain Resort is one hour east of Spokane Int'l Airport on I-90. General aviation is served by two airports within close proximity:

Shoshone County Airport - S83 is two miles west by car.

Coeur D' Alene - KCOE is 45 miles northwest by car.

What are your hours of operation?

Silver Mountain Lodging is open seven days a week and the hours for Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark vary by season. 

Operating hours for the gondola and ski lifts for summer and winter adventures change seasonally.

When does half day start for lift tickets?

Are firearms allowed?

Silver Mountain is on private property and for the safety and comfort of all our guests, Silver Mountain prohibits the carrying of firearms while on Silver premises.  The exception being active on-duty law enforcement officers.
