Racing

Silver Mountain Alpine Race Team (SMART) is designed for children ages 5 to 17 who enjoy being together, having fun, and have a love for skiing and racing on the snow. Our dedicated coaching staff is committed to sharing their love of skiing and racing with the kids. SMART is divided into two distinct but complimentary programs, the Silver Sliders and the SMART race team.

Silver Sliders (ages 4-8)

Want to test the race program waters? Silver Sliders is the place to learn the skills and get an early start on racing fundamentals. Team members work with the same coaches and teammates throughout the season, and practice valuable techniques for on and off the race course. This team is your stepping stone into alpine racing, and is the perfect environment for those aspiring to join the SMART race team. Get the coaching your athlete deserves without the commitment to race.
