At what age is a child required to have an adult chaperone?
Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
How deep is the water?
Silver Rapids water park has something for everyone. The young children can enjoy Cub Cove which is a spray-ground built on a wet deck so you might call the water depth zero. The lazy river is about 3 feet deep, 4 feet deep under the bridges, and the basketball pool is 3 feet and the crossing pool is 3 1/2 feet deep. So Silver Rapids could be considered a shallow water water park with no water over 4 feet deep.
What kind of swimsuits can I wear?
Most swimsuits are fine to wear in the waterpark. Silver Rapids is a family waterpark, so modest swimwear is appreciated. Please ensure that there are no snaps, rivets, or metal zippers to prevent injury and damage to the slides. "Cut-offs" may not be worn.
The use of rash guards is very popular for both men and women. Rash guards are available to purchase at our retail shop.
For the FlowRider, because of the intense speed of the water, it is recommended that swimwear is on securely.
Children not fully toilet trained must wear swim diapers which are available in the retail shop.
Is it true that I can get a tan in the water park?
Yes. With the clear roof, the sun is allowed to shine in so you can actually get a tan while in the water park. Some guests may want to wear a waterproof sunscreen to prevent a sunburn.
