Is Galena Ridge Golf Course open to the public?
Yes. All are welcome.
Is a tee time reservation required?
No. Reservations are recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome.
Where do I check-in and pay?
Players check in and pay their fees at the golf course. Map to Galena Ridge.
Is there a practice area (i.e. driving range and practice green)?
There is a driving range available for use prior to your round. There is not a practice putting area at this time.
Why are golf carts required?
Galena Ridge is built on the side of a mountain and thus offers a lot of hills and challenging terrain making walking the course difficult. Golf carts must remain on the paths at all times.
Why can't I use my own golf cart?
Insurance and safety are the primary reasons we do not allow personal golf carts on Galena Ridge. In addition, some carts may not be able to climb the steep grades.
Can anyone drive your golf carts?
Each operator of a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
Is there a dress code?
Proper golf attire and soft spikes are required. Blue jeans are not permitted.
Can I bring my own food and beverages on the course?
Outside food is allowed but personal coolers and outside beverages are prohibited.
Can I buy food and beverages?
Yes. There are a variety of options to purchase affordable food and drinks, including beer and wine. A beverage cart will circle the course only during some tournaments.
Are there bathrooms on the course?
Yes, there are bathroom facilities located near the starter area (adjacent to hole #7 green) and the #4 tee box.
Is there a clubhouse?
No, a golf club house is planned but not yet under construction.
When will the other 9 holes be ready to play?
The additional 9 holes are designed as is the remainder of the Galena Ridge residential community. We are focusing our resources on opening the first nine holes and will commence building when the finance and real estate markets improve.
