Snowshoe and Nordic Ski Trails
Silver Valley and the surrounding resort areas are home to terrific Nordic
Skiing and snowshoe trails.
From the top of the gondola you can enjoy a 3 mile snowshoe trail. Snowshoe
rentals are available for $10. Check in with Silver's ski patrol before you
start and let them know when you have returned.
While we do not offer Nodric Skiing within the resort, The Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's passes right by the resort's Gondola Village
and is a 10' wide paved path perfect for Nordic Skiing. In addition, a short
drive to the west of the resort is Fourth of July Pass where you'll find 20km of
groomed Nordic Trails.

Nordic Club is an active participant in maintaining and expanding the
Fourth-of-July Pass Ski Area trail system. The groomed trails are available to
the public largely as a result of the volunteers and monies provided through the
State of Idaho Park-n-Ski program. This trail system offers intermediate and
advanced levels of skiing.
