||Kellogg Christmas Lighting Festival Join the Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce and Silver Mountain Resort for the annual Christmas Lighting Festival. Start your Christmas shopping early at the craft show in Noah's Loft, enjoy the staff house museum free of charge, and get your photo taken with Santa. The fun doesn't end there! After dark the yearly parade will begin in historic uptown Kellogg and end at Silver Mountain where there will be a tree lighting, hot drinks, caroling, and more in the village. Wrap up the evening with a free, all ages showing of "Lifted" in Noah's Loft.

||New Year's Eve Silver Mountain is the perfect place to celebrate the New Year, with something for everyone! On the mountain we have skiing and boarding under the lights until 6pm and an extra late 5-7pm tubing session. After a day in the snow come warm up at Silver Rapids where it's always 85 degrees. There will be a balloon drop, lazy river duck race, and a family New Year's Celebration in Silver Rapids Waterpark with a 9:00pm New York Countdown. In Noah's Loft there will be a special New Year's Eve buffet style Prime Rib dinner from 6-9pm, and for those 21 and older there will be karaoke/ DJ party with a champagne toast at Noah's Canteen.

||College Days $26 lift tickets for college students! The future of America has enough on it's plate without having to buy full price lift tickets all the time. Come celebrate with us by enjoying retro priced $12 lift tickets , fireworks, night skiing, a rail jam, best retro outfit contest, and birthday cake in Moguls.

Canned Food Drive- Canned food donations are not required, but highly encouraged. Collection bins will be at the lower gondola loading area, all donated food will go to the Shoshone County Food Bank. Thanks to Summit Northwest Ministries for organizing this as part of their Jam 4 Cans series.

Jam 4 Cans Rail Jam -End a day on the slopes with a rail jam for a good cause. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Terrain Park Shack with competition starting at 7 p.m.Ski Shack, Summit Northwest Ministries, and the Silver Mountain Terrain Park are teaming up to run the jam.

||Doug E. Fresh Weekend We've teamed up with our friends at the Hayden Ski Shack to put on a great weekend of events and raise money for a great cause. Doug Johnson was a fixture of the Inland Northwest ski and bike industry, and was a loving father of four children and an all around great dude. His early passing has left a void in the local mountain culture, so we are holding this event to remember and celebrate Doug's way of life, and raise some money for his family at the same time. The Rub will be playing in Moguls from 9-11 p.m.
||USASA Boardercross/ Skiercross and Rail Jam Head to head racing will be happening on a specially built course, with categories for everyone. A portion of the terrain park will be closed for the Rail Jam competition.

USASA Slopestyle Competitors take to the Silver Mountain Terrain Park to compete against each other for the best tricks and runs. There's a category for everyone, and it's a super fun event to compete in or spectate. Note- the terrain park with be closed while competition is happening.

||Spring Carnival Kick off your spring break with a pond skim! The Pond Skim is free to enter and is held right next to the Mountain House, at the top of the bunny hill, there is a $50 gift card prize for the best male costume, female costume, and $100 gift card for best crossing, and best in show. Competitors have 45 minutes to put in their best crossing. The pond skim starts at 2:00, and registration will be on the patio from 12:30-1:30.
Participants under 18 will need a signed release from a guardian. Helmets required.

Easter Egg Hunt:
On the Mountain- Candy stuffed eggs will be out on the blue and green runs all over the mountain. Keep an eye out for "Golden Eggs", 13 of these will be hidden, 12 can be turned in for a Chocolate Bunny, 1 can be turned in for a Giant Chocolate Bunny! Turn in your golden egg to get your bunny at the guest services desk in the Mountain House basement.
At Silver Rapids- This hunt is for Silver Mountain Lodging guests, and others who have a valid Silver Rapids Waterpark pass for the day. Check in at 9:45, the first wave of egg hunters will be sent at 10:00. Candy stuffed eggs are hidden all over the waterpark. Keep an eye out for "Golden Eggs", 13 of these will be hidden, 12 can be turned in for a Chocolate Bunny, 1 can be turned in for a Giant Chocolate Bunny! Turn in your golden egg to get your bunny at the waterpark front desk.

||Leadman 2018 The Annual Leadman at Silver Mountain Resort is an exciting individual or team competition for those who prefer a rowdy adventure course and might be a bit softer than the traditional Ironman athlete!
The race begins at Kellogg Peak on Silver Mountain when the gun is fired! Competitors run about 200 ft to click into their gear for an approximate 1 mile ski/board to the mountain bike transition point. At that stage, competitors find their riding gear and mountain bikes and brave a mostly downhill dirt course to the City of Kellogg where the run initiates. After the 7 to 11 mile bike ride the runners take off for a 4 to 5 mile run to the finish line at Gondola Village at Silver Mountain Resort. The fastest times are under 50 minutes and the last racers cross the finish line in about 2 hours.
Come on out for a real thrill or to just enjoy the festivities of Leadman day at Silver! 100% of the net event proceeds benefit community projects sponsored by the Kellogg Rotary Club.
